Automatic Idle Charge

The BF90 has the best in class charging performance with a 44-amp (35-amp charging) alternator. This means your outboard is now able to charge the battery faster and power more accessories, so that you can now run that little bit of extra tech on the boat to help find the perfect catch.

Shift Load Control

An all-new Shift Load Control system reduces operator gear shift effort and facilitates smoother gear changing. When shifting from forward, reverse and neutral, the ECU analyses the engine speed and throttle position and in turn changes the ignition timing, modifying engine torque.
